Scott blends his lifetime personal history with over 20 years of professional and academic experience working in various types of settings: Mental Health Agencies and Hospitals, Substance Use Facilities, Integrated Programs (dual diagnosis), Detoxification Centers, Inpatient, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, Private Practice, Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, and Family Counseling. He has been associated with Elmcrest Psychiatric Institute, Stonington Institute, John Dempsey Hospital at UCONN Health Center, Gilead Community Services and The McCall Foundation. Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional (CCDP): holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Services with a Specialization in Counseling (MS) and a Certification in Addiction Counseling (CADC).
